A AMAZING FACT TO LOOK AT......

Know ye (all), that the life of this world is but play and amusement, pomp and mutual boasting and multiplying, (in rivalry) among yourselves, riches and children. Here is a similitude: How rain and the growth which it brings forth, delight (the hearts of) the tillers; soon it withers; thou wilt see it grow yellow; then it becomes dry and crumbles away. [AL QURAN 57:20]

Today i dont know why suddenly 1 thought came to my mind... What is Success? Every one of us wants to be someone who will be remembered after his death. Everyone wants to leave a legacy... The quranic verse above is so true for everyone of us ... this was true ... is true and will forever be true......

Yet we see the Prophet (sm.) and 4 rightly guided leaders (caliphs in arabic) ---  

they never built any monumental buildings which will make them remembered over time .... Infact in early islamic state there is no place for luxurious monumental buildings .... as the state was a welfare state it provided for others what it provided for its rulers ...Rulers were more inclined in peoples welfare rather than creating their own legacy !!!!

They never named a city, or anything after their own name...  wheras we name even a small road after someone thinking that it will make them immortal !!!!!!! DOES IT HELP ANYONE OTHER THAN CREATING UNNECESSARY CONVERSATIONS OF WHO IT SHOULD BE NAMED AFTER ????

they never tried to make a legacy of their own, no social or political fame, nor did they create an aristocracy ..... The lived for the people of their time .... affecting the life of the masses of their time in most positive way ... helping them find a better life.

They helped the other people with their own belongings...

When Prophet (Sm.) died he left only a small piece of land which was given away in charity .... Remember Prophet (sm.) was then the ruler of a great part of Arab land ... there was no one who could have stopped him to attain the earthly enjoyments ...

THIS WONDERFUL MAN NEEDS TO BE STUDIED FOR OUR OWN SAKE ... 

OTHERWISE YES WE MAY BE SUCCESSFUL BUT OUR LIFE MAY NOT BE PURPOSEFUL... AND WE MAY END UP IN THE LOSING SIDE.... BECAUSE AS THE QURANIC VERSE SAYS EVERY ENJOYMENT WILL BE AS IF IT WERE THE YELLOW FADED DRY CRUBLING HAYS ....

PROPHETS LIFESTYLE IS THE BEST INTERPRETATION OF QURAN... YOU SEE THE ISLAM IS NOT THEORETICAL BUT PRACTICAL LIFESTYLE... ...
