I heard it many a times specially in my school years that this is a world of competition - you must do better than X or Y, Dont be too generous with the personal notes you make... Fortunately enough my parents were not among the ones who encouraged this very much, rather they encouraged my personal development without mentioning how to deal with other so called "competitors"- my other classmates, I always thank Allah for this.
Now a days parents compete instead of child, "My child is like this, got all A+, he/she sings better than others, he/she dances well, he/she is better than the neighbors child", Even in the family there is a competition among same aged cousins going on- everybody is trying to defeat everybody. The motto now is like I wish you all the best as long as you do not get richer/ famous/ educated/ powerful than me.
Even blood related brothers and sisters compete as they grow old for power, money, education etc. Now it would have been ok if it would bring happiness and success - But unfortunately its a miserably a sorrowful condition when we compete so fiercely -Competion is bringing success thats for sure- but we are paying a great price when we try to attain something by competition. It causes dis harmony, personality clashes, harmful egoism in the family, at the extreme cases even hatred among the family- which is the basic unit of any society,
WHEN FAMILIES ARE IN CHAOS , SOCIETY WILL BE IN CHAOS-
WHEN SOCIETY IS IN CHAOS, THE COUNTRIES WILL BE IN CHAOS,
WHEN THE COUNTRIES IS IN CHAOS, SURELY THE WORLD WILL BE IN CHAOS
WHEN THE WORLD WILL BE IN CHAOS SURELY ITS TIME FOR DESTRUCTION.
LOOK AROUND YOU AND JUDGE..?
